Web site optimisation concerns the structure and build of your web site and making sure that the search engine understand that your site is about your subject.

Some common pitfalls that we can advise against are simple things like making sure that navigation is present in text format so that the search engines can read what the sections of your site are about, after all search engines cannot yet read images. Likewise if your web site was put together by a designer who is more used to print than the web they may well have constructed your site so that content is made up of images, this is about as bad as it can get from a search engine optimisation point of view.

We can either work with your in-house or contracted design team to make sure that your site is in the best format possible for search engines or our designers and technicians can build and design a site for you.

There are a lot of little tricks and added touches that can give your site the little boost needed to gain front page positions so even if your site has already been built it may be that some simple changes will be enough to maximise your search engine optimisation and gain better results in the search engines.

Of course, natural listings in today's search engines can only be reached if they deem you more relevant than your competitors, this is judged by the links pointing to your site from other sites and also how relevant the sites linking to you are for your subject.
